I WAS EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW STAR WARS MOVIE COMING OUT. SO I BUILT AN UNOFFICIAL GOOGLE MAPS HACK TO SHOW WHAT IT’S LIKE TO LAND THE MILLENNIUM FALCOM OUTSIDE YOUR HOUSE.
Or fly Luke’s X-Wing down Wall Street. Or pilot Darth Vader’s Tie Fighter down to the shops.
After a weekend of tinkering I uploaded it, and a few days later it got a bit of press. It was featured on a few news sites and blogs, such as Popular Science Magazine, the National Geographic Channel, IGN, TEDx Florida State College Jacksonville.
